Frontier City 0

Saturday I volunteered to be a chaperone for Kandace’s dance team Jet Stream. The team is made up of around 30 kids from the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade. The kids were great and very sweet. We had to wait a long time in lines but in the end I believe it was a good experience for the kids.

During this trip I got to spend a lot of quality time with my dad. I loved every second of it.

After Frontier City my dad, Kandace, Kevin, Tiffany and I went to Teds. We love Teds. We had good food and enjoyed lots of laughter together.

The Dentist 0

I don’t like going to the dentist! The dentist is horrible; I don’t like getting stuck with needles. But, I am thankful that I got a much needed filling. =)

Papa 0

Papa, my grandpa Tom, had a heart procedure earlier this week. He is still in the hospital recovering. I hope to see him in McAlester soon!

Lip Balm 0

I’ve been wanting to try a new lip balm. I’ve been debating between EOS and Nivea. Well, while at Sunflower Farmer’s Market I made an impulse buy and bought a lip balm by ECO LIPS. This lip balm is USDA Organic, made with Fair Trade Certified coca butter and it was made from recycled packaging. Has anyone ever tried the other brands mentioned?

Taste Test 0

Tonight was a taste test between an organic avocado vs a regular ol avocado. The winner!? Just the regular ol avocado won. Now I must say that the organic version of most food items usually wins.

Time Flies 0

I can’t believe it’s been so long since I’ve done a post =(

Sometimes I feel that life is passing me by, not slowly either, but with ropes of steam and spark-spattered wheels and a hoarse roar of power or terror.  It’s passing, yet I’m the one who’s doing all the moving.  ~Martin Amis

We will fight, we will win 0

My dad has been diagnosed with Stage 3B colon cancer. I truly believe that he will win this battle. His family and friends are ready to fight with him. If you are a praying person, please pray for VICTORY! I love you dad :)

How do you manage your time? 0

We realize our dilemma goes deeper than shortage of time; it is basically a problem of priorities. We confess, we have left undone those things that ought to have done; and we have done those things which we ought not to have done.“ – Charles E. Hummel
